Life couldn't get much better for a rancher is South Nevada. No range land costs, a bunch of dummies coming to his aid whenever he snapped his fingers, and hero status. What was your question?

Inside joke... Although I agree Bundy should be dealt with as he is raping the tax payers, I find it ironic that they send armed military style men to uphold the law from a citizen breaking the law but with illegal immigrants the feds are told to leave them alone unless the crime is violent.

There is no shame in getting educated, it makes all of us better people. Embrace the opportunity you are given to learn from people far smarter and from people with much more experience and wisdom these issues.

And, yes, since I was 11 years old and bought my first heifer, every single animal I have sold was fed on deeded grass, or, on hay grown on deeded property. I come from a long line of cowmen who haven't relied on My Public Lands to raise our cattle, instead, they relied on private enterprise, took risks, and made money and lost money. You know, the American way. Unless, of course, you hate America. You don't hate America, do you??

Hell no. Most of them had shitty ass fences that I spent much of my youth repairing.
Later on in life, I bought another piece and had to put a fence around some of it for a pasture. Well, the junk-collector farmer/neighbor next door had some big-ass D-8 CAT from the 50's parked on the property line. He kept saying he could get it running. He never did.
Any way, I started building fence, and as I got to the corner where the CAT was sitting on the property line, I just moved the fence onto his property line about 20 feet to go around the equipment. I then kept the fence on his property for 600 feet,.
He comes by just as I am finishing (as no way he would be there when he would be expected to help build fence or buy material) and told me my fence was on his property.
I told him that I had to put it over there to get around the CAT and we could move it whenever he needed to get the CAT out of the pasture.
That fence has now been on his property for 20 years, the CAT is still sitting in the same spot (worth a fortune in scrap metal), and when I sold the property, I told the buyers the fence was nowhere near the property line.
Not sure what our state laws are on adverse possession, and if the current owners have any claim to the extra property I fenced in 20 years ago. I still laugh when I drive by.
For not supporting Bundy, he sure seems to have to challenge a lot of people to prove he supports Bundy. And, when shown where he supported Bundy, he goes silent, just like he does when asked to show where he supports the BLM.
Maybe he will finally come out in support of BLM...?
