Bummed with Kenetrek

Kenetrek sent me an email with a returned, discounted pack boot. I was happy to see it was the size I was looking for and pulled the trigger.

I received a verification, receipt and order number around 1300 on the 25th. Tonight I got notice that the boot was already sold on the showroom floor.

Pretty disappointed.

Bet if you spoke with someone they would be sure to correct that... Would be odd to speak with them and they burn you in that fashion... though ya - I would be peeved.

That sucks. Sure seems that they could help you out somehow. I'll tell ya Bob Wards has the best prices on Kenetreks right now. I saw the pac boots today but didn't pay attention to price. The others are almost $100 off. I'll try to look tomorrow for you and post a price.

I am fine with the boot selling before my order was placed, but don't send me a confirmation receipt and order number before pulling the boot. The store ain't that big.

It doesn't look like they were offering you anything that I couldn't get too if they were just teeling you that all the boots were on sale at 20% off!!! It sounds a little goofy, but I guess everybody makes mistakes. Maybe someone who worked in the store decided they wanted them and they grabbed them out from under you!

Miller they didn't have the Northern but had the 10" Grizzly for $99. That's a good deal.
