Update: 34 days and a wakeup until the flight to Fairbanks, Alaska for the 2025 guided Dall Sheep hunt in the Brooks Range. Started planning this second hunt for a Dall ram in January 2022. Almost Go Time!

I will par back training very soon as I don’t want to get hurt in the last few weeks before the hunt.

Update: Blue Sheep ram, Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve, Himilayan Mountains, Nepal, Asian Continent. October 20, 2026. 12,590 feet altitude. 7 mm Remington Magnum. Day 2 of 10 Day hunt.

Finally recovering after 3 weeks in Nepal and 11 total days in the mountains. Very blessed, thankful, and grateful for the opportunity to finally visit and hunt Nepal during my lifetime. Full hunt and extensive photography report on Africa Hunting Forum.



Great and friendly people involved in our expedition in the Himalayan mountains. 30 people including hunting guides, support staff, sherpas, donkey and horse transporters pictured above. This operator has scheduled these hunts for over 47 years. Saw 179 blue sheep total. Himalayan Safaris, LTD.
