Boulder County fire

I’m sitting at my job site in Erie watching it and it doesn’t look good at all. Winds blowing like hell.

Entire town of superior evacuated. Been watching it for a while, the sun comes and goes.

just could not be a worse situation after a snowless fall and december on the front range to have this happen with 100 mile per hour wind gusts

Sad. I was with with my friends the day their house burned to the ground in Superior. I was not prepared for the mental process. They lost everything. I literally helped the fire dept try to save it by holding fire hose. They didn’t have enough water. It was a volunteer fire dept then. They built a beautiful new house. That was about 20 years ago. Now fire is 1 mile from house and getting closer. Prayers for all!!

Just talked to sis,who is OK for now at their place. Hoses out.
Several towns evacuated near them & they are taking livestock in for for folks.
Roads jammed from folks trying to get tests before the fires started.

Wow, just terrible. Looks awful close to many structures.
It has been a horrible year for fires out West here.
We need moisture... bad.

This is the view from the Boulder Community Hospital. The wind is just rocking right now.
