Is it blasphemy for old school to meet new school? Installed a Leupold with a turret on a 1926 Savage. Thoughts?

I don’t think the stock is original, it has a Douglas bbl as well. The story I heard was that Dad bought it and all the parts were in a box.

What chambering & what scope?

New scopes in classic guns is entirely acceptable so long as the proper scope is selected from r the chambering.
