Nice! Were you able to get the foxes to fly before you shot them? :) Is that white one an arctic fox or just a really rare phase of red?

They are Arctic Foxes. The blue one walked up on me while I was hunkered down for ducks. The dark brown one was feeding on a freshly harvested Sea Lion carcass and was oblivious to my walking up on him. The white one I saw the day before and I baited him the next day with a fox carcass.
 
Great thread. Interesting fox hunting while sea duck hunting. Sounds like major fun. Very good pictures.
 
Beauty of an Auto 5 there too!

I've been shooting it since I was a teenager. Only wish I had been taking pics of it all along from the beginning when it was new and pretty and I was thin with a head full of curly black hair. Would have been nice to document the two of us growing old and ugly together.
