Since most of the Root is on fire including most of my elk spots I am looking for GPS coordinates and honey holes so me and shootsstraight can kill a couple mature bulls close to a road. Thanks in advance.

If nobody wants to share their elk spot, I heard the upland hunting south of Malta is the best in the state.

The yellow is prime early September elk habitat. The Red circles are buffered waypoints of Bull Elk Tracking Collar locations in the last 24 hours. Dress accordingly, it's hot out there. Best of luck!
