Reading this reminded me why you have reservations, and I changed my comment to reflect this.

Well comments are clearly coming in. Heard from RMEF that the Bio is getting a lot of emails on it to her email nad has asked folks to use the submission form on the scoping notice page instead.

I submitted my comment today. To my supprise one of the biologists working on the project responded to my comments.

No established timeline yet. This was just the scoping, so there are a lot of miles to go before we're at the finish line.

DFWP, RMEF & the landowner still have to come to terms in their contract, and we have to have the funding available for the purchase. That means depending on the outcome of the next election for Governor, the Legislature is the next big battle on this. The funding will have to be allocated to Habitat Montana in order for it to happen.
