This is a great thread. I lucked out and when in Alaska this year, stumbled upon a black bear that is the biggest I have ever taken.

Nearly another 2 years in the books. I'm sure there are a lot of new folks who have not participated, and many old folks who have bested bests. Remember the rules, one picture of your best of each big game species and some general information like year, weapon, state, etc. Don't be shy!

I bested my best mule deer in 2013 with a Colorado buck, killed at 110 yards with a .270 Win. while I was sneaking through an aspen stand. 187 4/8" gross.

My best are as follows:

2007 Montana pronghorn. 200 yards, 7mm Rem Mag. Only 12.5" on the length, but good mass and prongs. I scored him somewhere around 71".
2007_Antelope.jpg

2008 Texas whitetail. 125 yards, 7mm Rem Mag. Tooth aged at lab at 8 1/2 years old. Scored 112".

2009 New Mexico muley. 60 yards, 7mm Rem Mag. Field photos turned out terrible, but I got this one at the house with my son that I'll cherish for a long time. 6x6 nontypical (bad angle on that picture but he has them). Scored 181".

2010 Texas feral hog. 50 yards, 7mm Rem Mag. I actually weigh most of my pigs and this is my biggest. I couldn't get this guy weighed because I was by myself with no tractor, but this guy was bigger than my 2nd largest that weighed in at 245lbs on a scale. I would put him somewhere between 250 and 275.

2010 New Mexico bull elk. 300 yards, 7mm Rem Mag. Gross 309".

Those are my biggest.

I've improved on my pronghorn and my elk. Both shot in Wyoming.

2012 Wyoming pronghorn. I don't remember the measurements exactly but I'm pretty sure he was 15 1/2" tall and right at 78" total green score.

2013 Wyoming elk. Officially scored and made B&C with 372 3/8" gross and 361 6/8" net.

And my first ever mountain goat. Also in Wyoming (Wyoming has been good to me!).

2014 Wyoming mountain goat. 8 7/8" long, 5 5/8" bases.

2014 MT Unit 104 Shiras Moose. 37 days of hunting. I think he'll only score in the 120's, but he's probably my most hard earned trophy yet, and man that meat is awesome! S & W M1500 .338 Win. Mag. at 30 yds.

Will be fun to see the new members post their pics now that this thread has been refreshed. And, given the last pics prior to post #348 were before the 2013 and 2014 seasons, there should be some good pics of critters some of you took in those seasons.

I've been slacking with this TV gig. No new pics for me to post, but sure enjoy seeing all of yours.

Shot this 4x4 in Oregon in 2012. By far the biggest blacktail i have ever killed and probably the biggest.

My biggest (and smallest) moose. Southwestern AK, 2013.

I have a caribou that would score better overall but I like the character in this guy's tops. Noatak, AK, 2012.

Great thread guys, so many awesome trophies from a lot of good keen forum members. Heres a couple from the photo bucket album.

Here is my lifetime deer, hands down, i have shot a lot of big critters from a lot of different deer species but he is a couple of notches above. The culmination of over 1500 days in the field hunting sambar, a species i live and breath for and still do. wincehster model 70 in .300wsm using 180gr ttsx, a combination that has worked very well.

Not my largest buff, but my most memorable, self guided, he was glassed out wide in a big open plain, not much light left, had to cover a lot of ground and decided to get nice and close to him in the long grass and took him with a 9.3x62 Sauer.

My largest nz red stag, wild and free, not like many that are taken each year. Good solid stag taken on a spare afternoon in between guiding a few clients. Shot right on dark at over 400 metres after i glassed him with some hinds. Was a massive effort to get up to his bench and there was plenty of hard work in the headlamp that was needed before my feet hit level ground again.

One of the better hogs I've shot, was taken whilst i was trying to find a particularly large bull buffalo we knew was in the area, i never did lay eyes on the buff, but this boar was asleep in the creek bed and i shot him at close range asleep. Good tusks and a great hunt. .300wsm again.
