I was fortunate to take a long vacation this summer, so I haven't posted anything for a while. That, and my better trail camera results have been video, and I can't figure out how to post those. Anyway, this is a really sharp looking 5 point that has been coming in from time to time

This is a testament to how resilient these animals are. I put 650grains of arrow/broadhead (200grn cutthroat) at 176fps w my recurve, through the top of the back last October. He lost tons of antler but is otherwise healthy. He was about a 130” 8pt that I really wanted n screwed up the shot. Was on the ground about 15yds shooting uphill n clipped the bottom of the window w the arrow. N u can see the result. Felt n still feel like an ass, completely preventable and careless.
