Best copper projectile?

It may be the particular bullet/powder combo that I'm using, but the rifle I catered this post around doesn't like the 169gr Hunters, which is completely opposite of my experience with Hammers in my other rifles. I will have to try other ones and see how they do before I declare the bullets bad for the rifle.

What twist is your barrel? Per the Hammer website, a 1:8.5” is the minimum recommended for the 169 HH.

Mine’s 1:8. I haven’t done a whole extensive build up for the bullet though, so maybe I just need to get around to it. My local ACE has a ton of IMR 4350 on the shelf so I have a good source if powder to do load development

Selwayarmory.com has Barnes 165 & 168 grain TTSX on their website.

Your right I bought the last box of 180's 2 days ago. They seem to get Barnes in frequently so keep checking their site.
