Best burger recipe

Meatloaf and meatball sammiches are good, but are they burgers? Whatever floats your boat. I don't do venison burgers, but a German style meatball is another story.

... doesn’t care for non-ground meat ....
Try a Mississippi pot roast. Pull the meat and serve on a good roll, toasted under the broiler with provolone. If she doesn't like heat deseed the peppers and take it easy on the juice.

I’m a simple burger guy regardless of what kind of burger. My favorite is grilled over hardwood or charcoal. A good cheddar cheese, mayo, ketchup, dill pickles. Maybe but seldom lettuce never tomatoes. I like a soft but lightly toasted bun.

Smashed or classic as a big, thick juicy burger - either way, I love them simple seasoned with salt and pepper right before putting it on the ripping hot grill or cast iron, with either diced green chile or some nice strips of green chile before cheese. A little ketchup and more mustard and a bun that’s not too much bread. Garden lettuce and tomato when we have it.

Might just have to eat burgers all week with these other ideas - twist my arm!

For 45 years my wife and I just put the burgers on the grill, no spices or any other additions. Then she found a recipe that has salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce in it and wow what a difference. I now add that to my venison burgers along with an egg and bread crumbs.

If my mom was using venison for burgers this was here goto.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1tbs minced onion
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup crushed crackers (saltines, graham crackers, etc.)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes (or 1 tablespoon fresh, chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 dash pepper

I usually use 1lb of ground game meat and mix it with 1lb of pork chorizo. Season with your favorite seasoning and grill them up. You won’t be disappointed!

Wow, that plate looks amazing—total food envy over here. I miss being able to eat like that without thinking twice, but these days I’ve had to be much more careful with what I put on my plate. After getting some not-so-great health news, I started exploring ways to get things under control, and I ended up finding a reliable way to buy ozempic online. It’s definitely been a shift—fewer indulgences, more planning—but I know it’s the right move if I want to feel better long-term. Hopefully down the road, I’ll have more flexibility again. For now, it’s about making smarter choices, even if it means passing on the good stuff once in a while.
