Oak, it's a Montana bear. I'm too broke to hunt in Wyoming this spring - a little burned out too. Although this weekend would be good buzzing around down there. Speaking of Buzz, he'll probably be nailing one sometime soon. Hopefully the weather cooperates for him.

It's the year of brown bears. Good friend of mine shot a 7'4" hershey colored black bear with a 20 1/2 skull here last weekend.

Last night while on a run, a brown sow tried to bite my ass after I nearly stepped on her young one. No more jogging with an ipod on while on that trail.

And this weekend I'm going to this island, it says more brown bears than anywhere..Brown bear metropolis

That is only one bear per 596 acres on the island. Just only step foot on 595 acres and you should be fine
