I'd Sacrifice a 400" bull elk for the overall good of the wildlife population for the $ that the tag brings.
I don't shoot big bulls like that because it just makes people ask too many questions
Was it fair chase?
Was it guided?
Was it a landowner tag?
Was it Public land?
People don't ask that about my 230"- 280" bulls.
But seriously, when I see a monster like that, a self-supported solo hunter is not the first thing that comes to mind.
