Is it aliens? Here's why that's the least important question about 3I/ATLAS.

Conspiracy theories have raged about 3I/ATLAS being an unnatural object. But the alien question, while fun, generates misinformation and distracts from the science.

We drove out of town about 10 miles and spent about a half hour and were able to have some amazing views after our eyes fully adjusted.

They were the best I’ve ever seen, but I haven’t seen them more than 5 times.

Both the boys were out like a light by the time we got back to town. That was nice.

I just went back outside. They have moved from the northern horizon to directly above and span from the eastern horizon to the western horizon.

Currently looking east

And to the west, but more straight up.

Went back out and the reds were gone. Green with the naked eye looks like fog now. Time for bed. Sounds like they will be even better tomorrow but it's going to be cloudy. Pretty cool stuff! My Canadian sighting was the dancing ribbon type lights but this was awesome to be able to see the sky lit up without using my phone.
