I got this guy this morning when I was doing my morning chores.

Couldn’t do it in Nevada, but got this opening day looking for elk

I went grocery shopping over lunch and bought enough that I needed three Dillons sacks plus a couple of two liters to take back to the office. I’m a “bring everything in in one trip” kind of guy, so I made it work.

Placing the frozen veggies in the freezer, the turkey, cheese and baby carrots in the refrigerator section, I turned around to load the sack holding the flat iron and salad dressing bottles, only to not find them there. I went back to the car…nada. I went back in to the office, searching my personal office, the front desk area and the kitchen once more…zilch.

Knowing that the grocery store is just a five minute drive from the office I drove back imagining that I was going to have to talk to the dude monitoring the six self check out stations about my grocery sack I hypothesized I had left on the sacking area.

I parked the car near the cart corral where I had placed my cart after loading the car and saw this……

thank you it was an awesome trip. Interestingly enough that was the first evening of the hunt and that was the only sun we saw in 8 days.
