Ya I did the same in Nevada and had the license on auto renew. Just think in five more years, you can gain it back!

It happens. I just realized I missed two draw/point deadlines this year in different states. I did get my AZ deer app in, but in a panic after waking up well "after" the clock deadline and then realizing I still had a few minutes since I'm on the east coast. I recently just got another state application in on the last day that I almost forgot. Definitely have too many plates spinning / balls in the air this year!

I am either hunting Kaibab Mule Deer or Coues around the Mogollon Rim. I am a happy camper either way. When do we find out what we actually drew so I can put in PTO and make travel plans? This is my first Arizona tag.

Not the end of the world, it’s not like it’s gone forever. Just keep applying and you’ll get it back. I’d be more upset about the point you didn’t get for this year.

About 20 years ago I missed the deadline in my home state of CA.
I was so angry with myself because now I was forever removed from the top point pool.
However, the following year I drew a Tule Bull tag.

I did the same thing last year with AZ pronghorn. With all the states/species I applied for I somehow failed to remember.
I not only lost my loyalty point but that years point as well. Basically set me back two points until 5 years and can gain it back.
I only have around 9-10 points so likely wouldn't draw anyway within the next 5 years. I'm up to 11 AZ elk points. I need to take time to get hunter ed. point.

The point set back will hurt for sure, but I’m so far behind the curve already I’m not going to lose sleep over it. I’ll adjust my plans and soldier on. I took the hunter ed class last year, it’s relatively painless
