Anyone shooting Montecs???

I've been shooting montecG5 125's for awhile, overall I am happy with their performance. The one thing I don't like is that they are really hard to get razor sharp. Anyone else have the same issue?

I went to the G5's (100gr) this year and so far, two critter shots and two dead critters. I was happy with the sharpness out of the box. Haven't tried to resharpen the two I have killed with as of yet.

I shoot the Montec 100's. They are a quality head but I agree that they are hard to sharpen.

I have had no problem with resharpening them Are you doing it like they tell you to?

Have you guys considered the G5 Striker's over the Montecs? They sport similar construction, excpet from what I've read and heard the sharpness is much better.

I am not impressed with these broadheads. I purchased them in Spring '06 and haven't killed anything. Maybe it would help I was able to actually shoot them at an animal. I am impressed with how they fly as compared to field tips, but I did polish the edges a little before carrying them around in the field!
