I have an opportunity to go hunting north of Greely next weekend and wonder what to expect. Anyone out there shooting at honkers up that way ?
Anybody been hunting in NE Colorado recently?

Is that with a disabled vets hunt? I had an organization doing hunts and a goose hunt up there last year, then one of the top guys left and started his own gig, now I don't hear from either anymore

All I know is that there are normally tons of birds on the eastern front. My brother lives in Wellington and the time that I was at his house, there were birds constantly flying over. I think that you will have a good hunt, if you have a decent outfitter.

I hope the action up there is better than it is down my way. I see just about nothing over my house and what I do see flies just about right over highway 50 straight west towards Pueblo. All of the places down here that should be holding geese are vacant. I really hope it's better for you up there.
