Any hockey fans out there?

I like how this writer this morning put it:

"The Minnesota Wild spent three long days marinating in the hot mess they created in Denver, knowing there was no climbing out of an 0-3 hole against a team with Colorado’s firepower, pedigree and confidence. Two flat, unraveling losses in the Mile High City left Minnesota reeling and threatened to turn Game 3 and the block party roaring on West Seventh Street into a wake. Instead, the Wild rediscovered their identity Saturday night and reclaimed their relevance in this sizzling second-round series with a resounding 5-1 victory."

Then proceeded to go back to the shitter for game 4 tonight. Back to the drawing board.
My Sabres need to find a spark, I think Stanley needs to be benched and Kesselring needs to play. Stanley was picked up with the lightning in mind and he just doesnt match up well with Montreal.

I owe an apology. Blacky played out of his mind tonight.
I thought Wallstedt did, also.

That was a great game both ways. One of the better ones of Playoffs, honestly. If you woke up and saw the final score, it tells a completely different story than the actual game.

Glad we're coming home with a chance to close. Wild are a scary team.

Definitely. That was a 3-2 nailbiter with two dumb empty-netters thrown in.

The Wild are a great team. I'll be rooting for them to win the Cup if they knock out the Avs.

Also idk if any of you guys watched the Sabres Habs game last night, but the ESPN broadcast was really bad. It was hard to listen to...
Omg, with the exception of EJ between the benches, ESPN coverage has been horrific.

They love the cheesy in-game interviews and actually missed the Avs first goal in while interviewing Hughes last game.

Plus they mute the crowd noise to the point it’s barely audible so it’s like watching a beer league game and every stick touch sounds like a slapshot.

And then the studio guys… (TJ Oshie is fine. Subban is an absolute clown and Messier knows his hockey but is like listening to the professor on Ferris Bueller.

Sorry - have been griping about this for months this season.

I realize the amount of eyeballs ESPN gets is huge for the league and regardless of their quality it’s good for hockey to have them broadcasting games but man it’s frustrating to watch.
