Any hockey fans out there?

Committed. Hopefully not needed though.

When I tried to buy a box office ticket, it was rejected saying the credit card had to be a local zip code. Didn’t know they were doing that to preclude enemy ticket buying. Called my son and had him buy it. Bonus is he buys thru a special link for the team and avoids fees 😊.

The Wild looked like they were playing a pre season game with all the mistakes. The Avs can still win like that...the Wild cant. No Brodin or Erickson-Ek hurt but there were still way too many defensive lapses. I might switch goalies too there were a few bad ones let in. I might have even switched during the game last night and told the players they were the problem.

Similar for the Avs. Just bad defense all around. Neither goalie was good, but they weren't the main problem, so I understood both coaches leaving them in. Just a nutty game for two teams of this caliber.

Bednar's quote in the presser after the game summed it up pretty well, IMO:

Reporter: "Can you explain what just happened?"
Bednar: "I Can Not"

Can't get Jacques LeMaire's old Wild series win over the Avs out of your mind eh? Good old neutral zone trap...

I see this series going one of two ways from here:
1) The games continue to remain fast paced leading to the defensive breakdowns and numerous high danger chances. Could be the highest scoring series ever.
2) Minnesota intentionally slows the pace down, puts more effort into strong defensive play and playing physical hockey. I don't see why Colorado would want to intentionally do this as they would much prefer option 1 as it suits their forward lines much better.

I predict it will be much close to option 2 rather than 1 and we will see a 4-2 hockey game tomorrow night. Could go either way under that scenario on who wins.
