I enjoyed when he licks another players nose
Off the ice, I agree.Marchand is a class act through and through. Always a Bruin to me.
It's not that they gave up a huge amount its the fact that its for Hughes for 1.5 seasons. Take out Zeev from.the trade and maybe it makes more sense. Idk im scratching my headGiven the dominance of Colorado and Dallas so far this year in the West, I’m not sure it’s the year to mortgage the farm on a cup run.
My thoughts.
Feels like they're going for d scoring instead. Which based on players on the trade block this was probably the best available at this time.I would have much rather this trade been for a top line center than d. Than I'd say it was a good trade
The problem all year hasn't been the play of our d men. It's the top line not showing up most games (Johan, ek and boldy doing their job on the second).Feels like they're going for d scoring instead. Which based on players on the trade block this was probably the best available at this time.
Which top line center was available? I can't think of any super stars on the block
At this point I just assume we aren't meant for a great center. CursedThe problem all year hasn't been the play of our d men. It's the top line not showing up most games (Johan, ek and boldy doing their job on the second).
A lot of top line centers would be available based on what we were willing to give
Friedman and other insider types all reported that Buium was the sticking point and VAN wouldn’t make the deal without him. It's not that they gave up a huge amount its the fact that its for Hughes for 1.5 seasons. Take out Zeev from.the trade and maybe it makes more sense. Idk im scratching my head
Ok so why two more pieces required? Rossi and buium alone, both with 4.5 years left on contract is a steal for 1.5 years of HughesFriedman and other insider types all reported that Buium was the sticking point and VAN wouldn’t make the deal without him.
Murderers row of D-men in the Central now, yikes.
I think VAN ‘won’ the trade - I think it’s unlikely Hughes re-signs in MN and not sure they could afford him and 97 anyway - but why couldn’t all of this stuff stay in the East?
