Any hockey fans out there?

It’s a win now move, if I’ve ever seen one.
I don’t hate it. Clearly they didn’t value Rossi, Zeev is promising but not a sure thing, Ogren is a good young player, but not indispensable.
You get a 90+ pt Norris Trophy winner, though. I’m excited about it.

Given the dominance of Colorado and Dallas so far this year in the West, I’m not sure it’s the year to mortgage the farm on a cup run.
It's not that they gave up a huge amount its the fact that its for Hughes for 1.5 seasons. Take out Zeev from.the trade and maybe it makes more sense. Idk im scratching my head

Imo the real strength of the wild was their future with so many promising young players. That just took a big hit. Buium in particular had a high ceiling...and Spurgeon and others arent getting any younger. They lose a centerman who already was racking up points in Rossi...Will Hughes take up all that slack? Hope Billy has this one figured out fir the long term, as the rest of the team wasnt up to a win it all now expectation, IMO.
