Any hockey fans out there?

Both of my teams are now out. Wow. Worst hockey playoffs ever (personal reasons, not quality of hockey as this has been amazing thus far)

We don't watch hockey, but turned the TV on and the Dallas/CO game was on with the Stars down 2 with 15 minutes to go. We have been to a Dallas game in Dallas a few year ago so watched it, good comeback.

I was gone last 4 days on a turkey trip and I needed some dad time with my oldest boy so I asked if he wanted to stay up late and watch hockey. He was all in. We brushed teeth and got PJs on and got on to the couch with about 4 minutes left. He was drifting off to sleep but was jolted awake by each Jets goal. He saw the game trying goal, cheered and hi fives for how cool it was and maybe 6 seconds later he was lights out. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening with my kiddo after being away for a bit.
Best job I ever had.

knights are toast. they all seem banged up and slow. hertl must be hurt - he's way down on faceoffs and is not even on the dot in d zone which is usually his specialty, eichel is stuck playing D the whole game against mcdavid. stone, mcnabb, and doro are all obviously laboring out there. Roy and Howdy are ghosts out there. Hill had his run, but he's toast now. petro has been off the whole second half of the szn. officially cooked.

I’d like to say that watching playoff hockey this season I’ve noticed how in tune the home team fans have been in regards to the goings on, on the ice. As a good rush gets started out of the zone and across neutral, volume is building in excitement for a chance on goal. And in anticipation of a great cross ice pass hitting the tape for a shot, there is acknowledgment from the crowd. These spectators seem to be actively watching the game unfold, and understand the nuances of the action in front of them.

Especially in Canada. It's crazy how engaged they are there compared to here and it's great here.
