Same hereI’m pulling for Edmonton. Just can’t bring myself to pull for Florida.
I don't mind the move given the price. That is super cheap for a veteran with some relevance. Not much risk there.Seeing as this MFer only seems to show up on the scoresheet at the end of the season when he's up for a new contract, maybe a 1 year deal is the solution?
I've seen referees that willingly take on more physical contact that this pud. Would have loved to have seen him go figure skate for someone else.

Yup I agree with @seeth07 , for that price take him. He might be worth that just for his speed through the neutral zone.Seeing as this MFer only seems to show up on the scoresheet at the end of the season when he's up for a new contract, maybe a 1 year deal is the solution?

Super cheap because that is what he's worth. Not much risk, but not much reward either.I don't mind the move given the price. That is super cheap for a veteran with some relevance. Not much risk there.
Just because he is signed doesn't mean he will hit the opening day 20 man lineup. He will still need to prove and earn it and he may be needed midway through the season due to injuries. Again, its a solid safety net for a value price.Super cheap because that is what he's worth. Not much risk, but not much reward either.
I'd rather see those minutes go to a younger guy that has a chance to actually impact the team in the long term. He's a 34 year old who doesn't score much, he doesn't win faceoffs, and he doesn't kill penalties.
I'd much rather see guys like David Jiricek, Liam Ohgren, or Danila Yurov get those minutes.
We both know he's making the roster. He's Billy G's little pacifier.Just because he is signed doesn't mean he will hit the opening day 20 man lineup. He will still need to prove and earn it and he may be needed midway through the season due to injuries. Again, its a solid safety net for a value price.
Not a wild fan but really? 2002 they beat an avs team in 7. That avs team had kariya, sakic, forsberg, fluery, selane, blake, etc (loaded). Its sucks the stars took (along with Madono , etc) that name to Dallas and they own an avs team thats always more talented. Hockey is a funny, unpredictable sport. In 1990 I was playing jr hockey in BC. We went to our league final before provincials. We beat Nelson four straight (they be us in the regular season twice, two of our losses out five losses that season. It was a bad match up, and we proved it when it mattered. ((two guys on that Nelson team played eight years plus in the national legue). Come playoffs PM minutes we had 400 plus in 14 games, they had 200 in 16 games. Some teams match up differently. Colorado gets by Dallas (its a match up thing), they have a least another cup. Florida doesn't match up well with Colorado. And this year thcutck (hate him, and his dad) I am not sure they are going to win this thing. It is not a divisional thing. Two different teams, built differently. Two players one team with something to prove. But the wild don't suck, always competive and at the end of swallowing two big contracts. I hate the wild but show some respect. The Wild have always and will forever suck, does it matter who they sign?
I have enough data to support my thesis. Not a wild fan but really?
According to your previous post, doesn’t it depend on the matchup? For hockey fans.. It is couple days before the finals. Name your First team (3 forwards, 2 defencemen, and a goalie) all time. The all time first line you would put out on the ice at the drop of the puck in game one of the finals.
I will start
defense
#4 Bobby Orr (my opinion the greatest hockey player ever)
#7 Paul Coffee (I am torn on this, if orr would of remained heathly him and ray bourque would of played together)
offense
center
Mark Messier (two more cups without gretsky, would fight, strong on his skates, played both ends, and was a leader)
Wings
Gordie Howe (one fight, one assist, one goal) ---it is gordie!
Gretsky (greatest playmaker ever, he could play anywhere up front)
(I know they all played center but they were better hockey players than positional players)
goalie (this was a real hard pick)
Ken dryden (11 season won five cups with a piece of plastic on his face when they started shoot the puck really hard (ie bobby hall)-- billy smith was a close second and then roy and broduer
No judgement just list your starting line up. (couple months to hunting season so what the heck)
