If drinking Miller Lite is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

3rd year in a row on jumbo Montana pronghorn for my daughter..

[Gerald Martin]

First antelope for my son. Tracker turned over 16 miles as we made it back into camp…

Well at least it's not bud light.

Not my first pronghorn, but the first time I've had a buck tag. Great trip!

2016 Western Wyoming Antelope. Fun hunt with lots of Antelope to look over. Shot him about 125 yards with 7mm Rem Mag 140 grain TTSX.

2025 California Antelope. Took me 23 years to draw this tag. Likely Tables. 1 shot 25-06 100 grain TTSX. 200 yards. Had fun cutting it up with my son in the kitchen. Fun hunt but not many antelope.

Just got back from Wyoming this Sunday in time to celebrate our Thanksgiving with the rest of the fam. Though this wasn’t my eldest’s first hunting trip South of the border, it was her first trip and big game hunt with a tag to her name! We had a big first morning with several failed stalks trying to get her inside a comfortable shooting distance, the winds were high and pronghorns skittish. I ended up filling my tag first while she was eating lunch and watching me from the truck.

With my tag notched and her belly full, we managed to focus on her hunt for the rest of the trip. Her last stalk was challenging to say the least. We spotted a group of two bucks and four does at a water hole. We worked the terrain but struggled to get to a point where she could take a shot with the high sage and the pronghorn being on the reverse side of a slope. Most of the pronghorns ended up spooking with the high winds but one of the bucks stayed back as they hadn’t seen us. We slowly crawled, inch by inch, to a spot she could make a shot. She dropped him in his tracks and I couldn’t be any more proud of her and how she did. Now onto whitetail hunting for her!

My daughter thinking she’s going to always get the big buck of the family every year - not this time lady!

[MTLabrador]

This year’s Montana buck, much nicer than I expected to find.
