Well, I have been hunting elk, and looking for deer after the morning elk hunt. Have not punched the elk tag yet. Have passed on three bulls and busted by one. Not sure why, they are plenty big enough. I keep seeing this one big one, I want him for some reason. But, after Saturdays hunt, getting busted by a bull. I was a bit defeated and weak, I have passed on this deer 5 different times. Seen him in the area since antelope opened aug 15th. Well, on Saturday, he was in a great stalking spot. I caved, and he got an arrow at 45 yards. Now I am very pleased with him, and very happy to hang my tag on him. Only one thing, he was so predictable I was trying to get my wife on him :) Oops!!

By the way, I notice you use the antelope be the decoy a lot. Has it worked better for you than the traditional lope decoys?
