Now that we have hit menopause in our household , the old standby no longer applies.
I actually never went there...too chicken...instead I diplomatically commented " oh yeah, I thought something was off". Always took me a day to process the bad energy in the air.

Consider calculating the number of days you will be hunting and shower her with considerate gifts for the same number of days. It might convince her she is overreacting and it should look good to the divorce judge.

I've asked how she would respond to a child acting the same way. I then instinctively ducked...

Anytime someone questions my patience and restraint I remind them that 1) my wife is done with that and 2) I'm not currently in prison. There were a few years where it took ALL I had.....the kids were in HS and college and would literally just leave the house for hours at a time.....traitors
