Alone season 13 June 17 on the History channel.

I'm going for the kiwi :)

He's young (risk taker) and may lack experience but seems to have settled in nicely.
You might be right, ain’t no telling with the way these go. I predicted to my wife that Clay was skinny and wouldn’t last and that Juan Pablo lacked skills. Well, shit.

My guide on Dish is showing the new episode is on in 20 minutes! Scanned ahead to tomorrow night and it's not shown. Setting the DVR to record it.

Well crap. I'm a dummy! I was thinking it was on Thursdays. Sheesh. At least I can still record the new episode and watch it tomorrow. I must be losing my mind with the heat! Time for bed. 🙄

Once again we see that you can have all the tools to survive, but if your brain starts to spiral it’s game over.

My money's on A-aron, the dude from BC. I think he'll do really good. The Iñupiat guy looks pretty solid and I hope we'll see a lot more of him, but I think he'll struggle mentally.

There's a few interesting characters on this season, should be a good one! I just really wish the show ditched the loooonnnnnggggg transition shots, cut down on personal stories, feelings and life lessons, and focused on actual survival, or at least give us a couple after-show specials on the top 2-3 contestants...

You know we can’t count on American producers to push that envelope. Despite the fact that most of these seasons have occurred on First Nations real estate, it ain’t Canadian TV.

"Boo hoo hoo hoo, thank you poor little chipmunk. You've nourished me for life. Now I'll use your intestines for fish bait."

I love when a contestant finally shoots or snares a grouse/rabbit after trying for 10 days, losing 6 arrows and using all their snare wire, and they go something like: "this is a game changer, I can finally thrive here".
