Well, I think that depends on how you look at it.schmalts said:That is the whole point then. should a non-citizen get a cheaper tag than a nonresident US citizen? i sure as hell don't think so.
guppie9 said:All that aside, I will say again, I really, really have my doubts that there is a significant problem with illegal aliens obtaining hunting/fishing priveleges in Arizona. (Just my opinion)
And do you think printing the regs in Spanish is going to increase that number or have no effect? I think it is not going to have any effect. Like I said, my problem is if you are going to print them in Spanish, you also have to print them in Russian, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, etc.Washington Hunter said:I'd say you're probably right...that it's not a significant problem, but even 1 tag sold to an illegal alien at resident prices is 1 too many.
Which is why I assume you posted this in SI!!!cjcj said:This is a sportsmans issue....
So it sounds to me as if you DO have some proof. I would like to hear those stories (and I am being serious) If you have personal knowledge of illegal aliens obtaining licenses/permits, I think you should post it, as it may help your argument.cjcj said:and Guppie I strongly Disagree with you ... this is just going to increase the "problem" that i have seen happen on at least 4 occassions and i`m just one guy...
Hopefully, this wasn't directed at me, as I am most definately not a fool. I never denied that it was happening, just that it was pretty low on the totem pole of illegal problems.cjcj said:Only a total fool would think that illegals don`t get Az licences to hunt and fish at "resident prices"![]()
So, are you against printing the regs in Spanish or are you only against illegals applying as residents? You say that you don't have a problem with printing regs in other languages, but in the previous sentence you say that printing the regs in Spanish enables illegals to cheat.cjcj said:printing regulations and "how to apply" information[ on a massive scale] in Spanish "enables" them to further cheat the system. [in AZ]
I don`t have a problem with anyone from a foriegn country getting information in "any" language as long as they apply as a NON-RESIDENT and follow the law.
If you would present the facts without all the extraneous "the sky is falling" hyperbole, I think you would see better results.
Yes I have "true" stories... but I don`t have the time right now....later
Because he likes f-ing with you!cjcj said:Jose why would you call someone a "racist hater" just because they want the law enforced? |oo
Perdone, pero entiendo los requisitos de la residencia y yo pienso que ellos chupan. Pero Gracias para explicarlos de todos modos. ¿Yo me pregunto quién podrá leer esto?cjcj said:I don`t think Guppie has a real understanding of the residency issue...I did my best to make it clear [with the facts]
