Leupold sent me their second prototype of a new high-end bino. Lots more will be added to the final version, but even this plain Jane version is impressive. I suspect just the glass quality will get people talking when released next year.

I have a pair, or actually my son does now of the Leupold Gold Ring compacts 10x28mm binoculars. They are superb. I sure wish they still made them. I was forced to buy a pair of Leica Ultravids 10x28mm! Oh the pain. the Leupolds are every bit as good as the Leica's.

I hope they hit it out of the park with a set of rangefinding binos! Be curious to hear what their warranty is on the electronics if that is what is being teased in the pic.
