A Decision on Public Stream Access in NM

The Game Commission comes down on the side of public access. I'm sure we'll have this fight continue but good news for now.

It's troubling that the NMGF Director was in support of 3/5 applications and that NMGFC had previously approved such applications. Do you know what water body was involved? The article mentioned that several streams were previously granted "private" status through certain sections. I wonder where and what size stream?
The recent rains caused almost all drainages to become navigable although I'd hope they have a better standard to determine the cutoff.
