A Buck in a Tepee

Doing my husbandly, fatherly, grandfatherly, duties this past weekend with a trip to Wallowa Lake in Oregon before hunting season starts for me. My grandsons came racing back to our camp site on their bikes jabbering about a buck in a tepee and his buddy was outside. My honey grabbed her camera and borrowed a bike to go see. Well......

Wallowa lake always makes for an interesting trip. I've got some pics somewhere of some real good bucks over there, although none of them are in a teepee.
 
I spent a summer working at the ECW pack station. Those bucks have no fear of humans and know they are safe.

That buck looks to be in pretty good shape compared to how I remember them.

I remember taking the girls there about 20 years ago and the deer were the mangiest looking critters I had ever seen. My quess is that it was due to eating all the crap people were feeding them because they would walk right up to your table looking for a handout. Glad that is a major no-no finally, but you know how some igits are.... clueless.
