I feel like we need to have a chat, guys.

There's all kinds of flaccid music, rap, etc on this thread and I can see at least 4 songs that aren't in the proper timeframe.

I'm a strict rules follower. It's kind of what I'm known for on the music threads, so take this bit of wisdom from your betters:

Sir Mix A Lot is royalty, but he ain't rock.

REM is alternative gravy for your biscuits, but it ain't honest-to-god rock and roll. it's that effeminate cousin who has great weed and mini fridge full of Bartles and Jaymes.

Mother came out in 88. I saw them perform in a small club, and Glenn threatened to go get his revolver from backstage and shoot a dude who pulled a screwdriver on him from the pit. I think it was a phillips head, hence the rage.
