7mm mag loads

My 'Pet' load doesn't exist anymore. Nosler 162gr Solid Base, max + a grainish, or so, of H4831. Stone cold killer. Nothing aimed at survived.

Earlier this month, I smacked a mature cow elk at 190 with this bullet right behind the front shoulder and she fell where she stood. The bullet never exited.

I've done quite a bit of handloading for a 7 Mag. Reloader 22 and federal primers has worked best for me with 160gr bullets like partitions and accubonds.

Have to agree with the IMR4350, federeal match primers and Nozler partitions. My Ruger 7mm mag likes them max speed. Tight groups as far as i have ever shot, 600yds target. Longest game kill, low 300's. Have loaded H4831sc with similar results. I use the RL19 & 22 with my non magnum 7mm-08 & 280 Remington to match velocities in both. Only need to remember 1 set of balistics unless i change bullet weights.
