Anybody have any experience with hornady 139 grain boat tail soft point on deer with the 7 mag? First time using them. Thanks

The 139 is a good bullet. I have used it a lot in a 280 Remington. While not a 7mag, it’s very close in muzzle velocity. It will be good for deer, or whatever else you want to shoot with it.

That used to be my dad’s go to when he Hunted deer with his 7mag. I run the 165 interlock version in my 300 win mag for deer

My dad shot alot of deer with 140 gr ssts out of his 7rm. Its a darn deer laser. They will die and quickly. I shoot 162eldxs out of my 7rm. Its also a deer laser. I shoot high shoulder and 90% of them simply flop over

I use it in my 7mm and it hits hard and fast and drops most on the spot now granted mine aint a rem mag but its still a 7mm

They would be fast and flat. My only concern would be them coming apart with the high velocity. Personally I would either go with a harder bullet like a partition or something bonded. Or I would step up to a little heavier bullet.

having said that I don’t think there would be any problem with killing deer or accuracy.

I use the Hornady Interlock (140 gr.) in my .270 Win. It shoots great and holds together well for a non-bonded bullet. I've shot several Whitetail and Mule deer with it. I wouldn't be afraid to shoot an Interlock out of a 7MM Rem mag.
