I am wondering if anyone out there loads for a 300WSM? I have been doing alot of load development on mine but I was curious what other folks are finding.
I am curious what powder, primer, bullet combos you are having luck with and what kind of accuracy you are getting? I am also curious what your method of load development is?
Thanks in advance!

I'm using:
IMR 4831sc
Fed 215
Nosler 165 or 180 BT
W-W brass

Shooting right around MOA with either bullet, my chronograph is out for repair so I can't give velocity.
I haven't really done much load development since I intend to re-barrel to 7mm WSM in the near future.

Bob,
What were the charges you were using for each bullet? Was that H-4831 sc or IMR 4831?
I was thinking of using some H4831 for future developments.

Thanks

RL17 was designed just for short fat guys. When it works, it's awesome.

I used to shoot 67gr. RL17 with Barnes TSX before switching to Superformance.
Actually shot better for me at 100-300 yrds but groups tightened up at 400, 500, and 600 with Superformance. Also gained 100 yrds on my range using same reticle (zeroed at 250) with the Superformance.
Shooting 7.5" groups at 600 - not incredible, but good for me and stock rifle.

Has anyone tried Magpro? I have used RL-17 in two of my 300 WSMs and had mixed sucess. It has produced amazing speed in both guns but accuracy just wouldnt play along. I have also heard good things about Magpro? Just curious if any luck has been had? That is going to be the next powder I try along with H4831.
