280 Ackley Load

Mounted a new optic on my rifle and headed out to my mountaintop range (a huge log landing) to dial it in.
Had just loaded up a new batch of ammo so was wanting to see how it would perform. When I got it hitting where I want it to, this is what I got. I think I'll keep this one.

Nice shooting! My 280 AI loves 160 gr Accubonds, too. What length barrel do you have?

Have a 7 mag, 7 Mashburn, 7 PRC...think the Mash cooled my jets for tinkering wildcats. Nice shooting and loading brokfut.

One of my favorite rounds. Love my 280's and 7mm-08's. Such a versatile caliber with lots of bullets to choose from (nosler being my fav).

I've had really good luck with the 150 partition.

I shoot the 140 gr.Accubonds in my 280AI and love them. Killed antelope, deer, elk, and a grizzly bear. All have been one shot.
