What did you end up settling on?
I have the 150gr bullets with RL23 loaded but have not shot them yet

My other favorite load is 150gr Nosler Partitions with Norma MRP and 215M primers and winchester cases. I get

just a little over 3000FPS and load is extremely accurate, possible the most accurate load in my 270.s. Works great on Elk.

This thread is still full of information.
I just picked up a new to me Winchester Model 70 in 270 Winchester.
I was looking in my powder bin, I found some H-4831sc, RL-26 I have brass, need more bullets. Might stay with Nosler for that task.
Mr. Jack O'Connor would be happy if we all were hunting with a 270 this year. lol
Not sure, if I have taken an elk with a 270. I know it will work with all the testimonials on the Net.
I read, Jack said: Pure imagination if the 150-grain bullet worked any better than a 130-grain bullet.
Reading all the history of this round has been very enjoyable for me.
This thread has been resting for a good while.
Hey, if anyone wants to help out with any load data with RL-26, I'd be grateful.
Wishing everyone all the best.
