More than likely not.
Between 2 friends and I, we've built 4 different 284 Win on different actions with different cartridges for the donor action.
None have needed any work on the magazine.

I’ve done two. One on a tikka and one on a Remington. Remington was finicky. Tikka fed like it had eyes

Only a marginal difference. 25 gives slightly higher velocities and roughly equivalent BCs, slightly less recoil. But… the quarterbore is infinitely cooler.

So it’s a fast twist 25-06 with more expensive brass, a lack of gun options, odds are a massive amount of freebore, amd $100 factory ammo
