Wonder if it’s a feeding issue with the rebated rim? I believe the 307 uses a different magazine setup

More than likely not.
Between 2 friends and I, we've built 4 different 284 Win on different actions with different cartridges for the donor action.
None have needed any work on the magazine.

I’ve done two. One on a tikka and one on a Remington. Remington was finicky. Tikka fed like it had eyes
