Got what I wanted. I went light this year, a cow elk, doe antelope, and doe whitetail. I’ve been enjoying general elk and deer the last few years, so I’m happy to stick with that this year.

Drew a decent deer tag and a buck antelope tag. Missed again (for the 11th year in a row) on my elk draw. Also, no dice for either of the two doe/fawn antelope tags I put in for. But in typically fashion, my wife continues to draw any and all antelope tags that she puts in for

Looks like refunds coming my way for my son and I. Pretty bad luck on the draws the last few years for us. Last year we had a 2nd choice New Mexico mule deer tag for him and nothing for me. This year we have a 3rd choice New Mexico mule deer tag for me and nothing for him. That's applying for pretty much everything you can apply for in nearly every western state and Alaska. Hopefully our luck improves soon, not sure it can get much worse! LOL.

Successful on a good elk tag, the same area I hunted a few years back. The best part is that this time my 15 year old son will be chasing elk with me!

Got 2nd choice antelope, never set foot in that area, should be fun. Cow elk and general deer then OTC whitetail doe for bow hunting. All x2 cause wife and I do party applications.

Im kinda of surprised. I put in for a unit that took 4 points for lope last year, with 6 points, and did not draw it. Oh well, I'll be picking up a General Deer/Elk in September.
