2025 Watch Them Grow

Latest from last weekend pull. Couple cameras I forgot to reset date last time and a couple won’t keep date so they are wrong.

seen a coyote standing out in the cow pasture on the way back from grabbing a few groceries.. bucked the 9 at Him twice and he bolted. Now I’m wondering if this is what was in that field where he was. 😩
More than likely. Lot's of fawns out in taller grass fields and coyotes know it. The one I found was in a little tree island in the middle of a CRP field. I kill a pile of the buggers every year but more keep moving in.

Fawns started dropping the last week or two here. Have seen more daytime coyote sightings since that time than I do during February. Possibly a coincidence, kind of doubt it though.

Well, this is why I hunt yotes this time of year. Locate them via howl, sneak in close, use coyote vocals, and some dawn in distress. The pups are out of the den now and adults are protective.
