Not sure, I typically use a tow strap and real tire chains. Less to turn into a projectile through the windshield if the strap breaks.

Strap in my truck. No chains...Tundra.

It’s a 2018, which is pretty much mechanically identical to the 2007. It’s simple for a modern half ton, which is what I like about it.

I went with the healthcare guy. Because on the outside he was living a very "normal" life, and just one of those risks that may work out, heck probably has worked out many times in the past, but didn't this time and his life as he knew it came crashing down.

I always figured headcoaches are out in the public eye so much that they are bound to fall hard at times, he certainly isn't the first, the worst, or the last. But you guys make a pretty compelling case.

In your country understandable.
I bought a tractor for my property...no more issues. If the county road drifts over i wait for it to get plowed.
I no longer get excited about chaining up, or unchaining. The macho/ ego chit just begs trouble in the mountains. Due to the cost of vehicles I'm more about preserving them.
Ive got a brand new tow strap in my truck....used once to pull a machine out of the mud on jobsite.

I’d rank my crash out I had the other day trying to get my 3pt blade on the tractor right up there with the rest of them.

I keep a big fuggin' hammer (3lb sledge) in the tractor for when those stubborn ones make things difficult. I can smack it around a bit, and while it probably doesn't help, it at least I feel better afterwards!
