USF isn't a Big10 team.

Meanwhile, Michigan is losing to Oklahoma. ;)
Ha ha ha …. My point was Florida lost to a non Power 4 team , and Oklahoma was the favorite, was just curious to see the true freshman QB play for the 1st time , I expect him to have some growing pains as a freshman, but will have Michigan as a top contender as he gets more experience his sophomore and Junior season

I'm not sure why Big12 is considered Power 4. No idea who the power in the Big12 is. :D

But, any way, UCLA lost in a big way to a Big12 last week and appears to be losing big to Mountain West this week. Northwestern lost to Tulane last week by almost 3 TDs. Iowa lost to Iowa State today.

Michigan's QB might be at a different team if he turns out to be good for his Soph and Jr seasons. :D

UCLA is a hot mess !!! There coach needs to go ! Oregon plays Northwestern next week !

Big 12 ain’t what it used to since the best teams all went to the SEC ! Looking more like it’s gonna just be the B1G and the SEC in a few more years as I am hearing the B1G is gonna expand again in a few more years as I, I expect the SEC is too !!!

IOWA hasn’t been able to play offense for years …. lol always good on D though , Cyclones looking like they wanna make the playoffs

Oregon has a night game in IOWA towards the end of the season

This game went about as I imagined it would for Michigan. Young QB, offensive line needs to get better as does the receivers.
Michigan has been ranked higher this year than they should be. Realistically they should be near 22 to unranked and likely will be soon. Still, I can see them getting better throughout this year and Underwood isn't going anywhere.

Got the glass shelves up in the man cave ! By the end of season I’ll have all the B1G helmets, 2012 Rose Bowl pictures going up tomorrow above the shelves , the glass case below will display the 30 some years of duck stuff I’ve collected , I like to arrange the helmets by weekly standing’s each week , got a box in the garage with the rest of the old pac 12 schools lol , freaking expansion

Think they’re physical enough? Can they close the deal against top competition? I’m rooting for them. Always the caller and never the shooter…
This team is Lannings first year with his recruits , there young at some spots , but have replaced some key starters with the #1 rated transfer portal acquisitions in the B1G and have had 2 straight top 5 recruiting classes , Dante Moore the QB was off the radar after transferring from UCLA in 24 and sat the bench last year , he was the #1 overall high school QB recruit in the 23 class , had some bumps at UCLA and left when Chip Kelly left for Ohio State

Word from Eugene is Dante is better than Bo Nix or Dillon Gabriel with his arm and ability to throw anywhere on the field. After 2 games he’s
34-44 for a 77.3 completion percentage 6 TD 0 INT and 10.9 yds per completion

Oregon avg 10.2 or 10.4 yds per play for the entire game yesterday, I’ve never seen that

Historically the teams that win National Championships have multiple top 5 recruiting classes, Oregon now has that and with the portal there getting other teams best players , Oregon this year has the best overall physically gifted players I’ve ever seen on both sides of the ball , they’re just young at some spots , but talent and depth wise there their , Lanning has Oregon in a Championship window for the next few years with what he’s assembled, plus Oregon had the best HS LB from the state of Alabama Tank Jones on the sidelines yesterday who wants to play at Oregon over staying home and playing in the SEC the dudes are still knocking on the door 🚪 and wanting the play here , we’ve never pulled the best kids from the SEC’s backyard till Lanning got to Eugene.

I think it’s a matter of time before it finally all come together for a championship, this year it could happen but I’m holding back my expectations , seasons are long and injury’s happen , but the future at Oregon is the brightest it’s ever been, plus Oregon has ponied up even more money and is currently building the best indoor practice facility and elite training center for football players in all of college or the NFL it will be ready to go in 2027 and the recruits see the commitment to winning

This indoor practice field will be higher from field to roof the Jerry Jones cowboys stadium

Stupid cool stuff going on in Eugene tonight, I’m just gonna sit back and enjoy the ride

DK Moore was the #1 HS WR last year just graduated HS a few months ago did this yesterday

I don't know how much time you guys have since Phil Knight is 87. Well, I guess he could be leaving money to carry on the NIL.

As far as player rankings go, good coaching can make up for a lot of that. Plus, good players want to play, and you can't play them all which means many go to schools that will let them play. End result is it's hard to keep depth.

My brother bet his son about 20 years ago that Tennessee will win another Championship before Oregon wins their first one. I think it's still a good bet. ;). We'll see.

What the hell has happened to Kansas State??
Not great in the Little Apple today. Six possessions for a total of 19+ minutes of offense will put you in a world of hurting.

Avery Johnson short passing game was not particularly accurate yesterday. Dylan Edwards in street clothes really hurts. The D line was getting submarined off the line of scrimmage all game. The O line didn’t look dominate at all, either run or pass blocking. The deflected onside kick really cemented Army’s victory.

And through it all, they didn’t seem to be having fun. Barely at any time in any game have I seen evidence of crisp, motivated play.

Strange

PS: my Rx for a solution… no huddle up tempo offense and on defense use less zone passing schemes, send a safety/linebacker to force an opposing offense to make the mistakes.

Don’t bust my bubble !!!! Uncle Phil still has a decade to go !!!!

2002 front page of the Oregonian after the ducks won their first major bowl game in the 2002 Fiesta Bowl vs Colorado , the other one is the 2007 sports page after the ducks beat USC in a top 10 showdown when Oregon was on its way to a national championship game before our quarterback Dennis Dixon blew out his knee against Arizona

Down below is a bunch of programs from games 95 Rose Bowl and 98 Michigan State 2005 Montana and a few others , I might leave them out. I might put them away.

I’m still missing a few things. I got a couple bottles of 1995 ducks and roses ale. It was a special beer made for the 94 championship team. I don’t know where that’s at in the garage yet. Yee Yee
