My buddy and I found some sheds, I found my first elk shed and he found the matching side. Pretty cool fun time.

Eventually when the snow melts I’m going to look for some. Usually I find several while trapping but none this year. Odd they were in the area just never dropped while I was there or I missed it

I have found 6 sheds and a dead head on the property I hunt here in Oklahoma. Have found two matched sets.
One set was practically touching. The other set was about 150 yards apart.
I've been out 3 times and have logged approximately 15 miles. Onx pic was Saturdays hunt.

I'd be ruined after finding that.
Me: The other one has to be just right here somewhere ...
2 hours later: Nope, I must have missed it somehow. I'll re-do the grid and get bigger binos

It's like the other one just walked away. At least I burn some calories and stay out of trouble. And I do a lot to try and not bump animals.

Sad day shed hunting today. Found this deadhead 250 yards from my ground blind. I had trail camera pics during season. Gross score of 169".

Wow that’s a huge whitetail. What do you think killed him ?

@Kaitum. I know your pain, been looking for other sides on 2 big bucks for a couple hikes. I am going to have to wait till we get significant warmup and some snow on north face and in timber melts, hope to match them up. Only matches this year have been dinks.

What old do you guys think this warrior troll shed is?

With that green color and it looks like it was buried for a while, I am going to say 3 to five years. You must be living right, We still have up to a foot of hard crusted, frozen white snow in most places.
I think the area flooded in the past after it was dropped. Rodents or squirrels have been chewing the tips.

Put on 3.2 miles today and only turned up a smallish shed from last year and this dead buck.
I had to have walked right past this shed a few days ago. Not sure how I missed it.
As far as the dead deer it is pretty fresh. Probably only been here a few days. I think it was hit by a car. I hunt in the city limits and the east side of property borders a paved road.
