13 hour day gets me to Ft Dodge Iowa for the night. Another terrible long day tomorrow and it’s a chip shot into Missoula on Sunday. Plan is to try to get on a Turkey Sunday evening and Monday morning. I have a couple places where I saw a bunch of turkeys in the fall but if you are in the Bitterroot and have a big Tom in your back yard shoot me a PM.
After that I will be focusing on bear in the Bitterroot and Big Hole for the next almost two weeks before heading to Idaho for a week (guided hunt).
Brought the wife and 6yo with me. We spend last fall in Missoula and surrounding area (even put the kid in Kindergarten) so they are excited to catch up with some of his buddies and their parents. Whether I get one or not I just need some time in the mountains so to say I’m excited is the understatement of the year. Will update this thread hopefully with tons of grip and grins of a turkey and a nice boar.
