I imagine it’s hard to bowhunt them when people can shoot them with guns at that time…? Is there district’s for that? Or is there bow hunters in there pissed at your success ? congrats regardless I have a friend in wyo that draws early season tags all the time and shoots bugling bulls with guns too…

It was my two boys first first elk hunt, they were the ones hunting with muzzleloaders. The rest of the crew are pretty much archery fanatics. This was in Colorado where the two seasons overlap and both archers and muzzleloaders are in the field at the same time, it’s not really a problem. I’d also given my boys a 50-yard maximum shot restriction, so they had about the same range as the Bowhunters.
