2020 sask bear

After a super slow start on my baits this spring it happened last night at about 830. This guy hit May 5th I think and didn’t come back till Friday. He hit Friday night Saturday night and Sunday night. Sunday night was the first daylight appearance he made. I sat for him last night it was a gorgeous night with hardly no wind but thankfully not swirling. Had a small guy entertain me off and on all night till this guy slowly snuck in. Once he got about 15 yards from the bait he stood around for a bit and must not have liked something because he started sneaking back out in the tail he came in. I got the 338 on a small opening he haD to cross and when he hit the opening I hit him. A 30 yard dash and he piled up.

Yes lots of bruising on his neck as well and his one shoulder was all bruised and infected

He wasn’t the biggest bodied bear I have ever shot and was pretty lean for a big bear. Guessing around 350
