2020 Frank Church hunt. Updated

I knew about the hunt but apparently missed it on here! Awesome hunt! One of these days I’ll make it back there. Didn’t seem terrible when I was 19 lol now that I’m almost double that maybe not

Type II fun. The Frank is on my list. It just looks incredible, painful, and oddly satisfying, all rolled together, minus the snakes.

Same here. Always wanted to go to Frank or Bob but can’t get a group to do it since none of my family bow hunts and friends won’t commit.

Great recap--I'd love to get back in the Frank someday on a hunt. I packrafted Big Creek in 2015 and caught my first bull trout in there. Cutty fishing was unbelievable too. Unfortunately, we weren't permitted to float the Middle Fork and had to hike back to the truck once we reached it. One day I'll get back there with a tag and a rifle in hand.

My buddy is almost done with his bull display. He still has to put the decor on the base of it. Ill post a finished product pic to. But here is the update pic he sent yesterday.
His mom painted the lettering on the replica sign. I guess they used a cricket machine to get the shape of the letters then she painted them. Pretty cool I think.

From everyone I’ve talked to the snakes are nasty in there. Just a shithole of rattlers. Not my cup of tea lol.
